About the Director

Helen Schiele has worked in the early childhood, primary and secondary education for over 28 years

Helen is a specialist in the following areas:-

  • Becoming a Certified Trainer in Cognitive Coaching (SM)
  • Creative problem solving and higher order thinking skills
  • Leadership Development / Styles
  • Strategic and organisational planning
  • Change management processes and procedures
  • Establishing Professional Learning Communities
  • Delivery of differentiated educational curriculums from Birth – 18 years of age.
  • Specialised knowledge in both the Australian and Victorian curriculums
  • Assessment and Moderation of student learning in Primary and Secondary Classes
  • Supporting students in gifted education
  • Advanced Reggio Emilia Educational knowdlege and understandings – styling educational spaces and curriculums inspired on said approach
  • Policy development within the Early Childhood Sector (State and Federal Goverenace)
  • Early childhood educators professional learning development
  • Specialised knowledge in both the Early Years Learning Framework and the Victorian Early Years Development Framework
  • Creating staff positions within the early learning setting, position descriptions and developing a Centres / Schools’  philosophy, Vision and Mission Statements
  • Developmental play based curriculums in the early years

Helen has worked extensively within the community and independent sectors.  She is currently working on her Doctoral Studies and sees herself as a life long learner and researcher.

Helen’s qualifications are:-

  • Associate. Diploma in the Arts (in social services childcare)
  • Bachelor of Education (Honours)(Early Childhood / Primary)
  • Master of Education (By Research)
  • Completing her Doctorial Studies
