In 2015 and 2016 I was privileged to have the role of becoming a building consultant and co-project manager in overseeing the build and fit out of the Ilim Early Learning centre (Glenroy Campus).

This was an exciting build as I was able to select colors, materials / equipment and key design features for the internal and external aspects of the centre. Liaison with School stakeholders whilst ensuring all levels of governance was met,  was a key aspect of this position.

This is a Centre that will educate and care for children aged from 3 months to 5 years. Within this work I was able to co-collaborate in the writing of policy development, set key criterion for the employment of staff and developing the Centres’ philosophies.

The joy was being able to select a core group of educators who will support and guide the next generation of children within their community.
